Susan Sherman serves as Clinical Associate Professor and Graduate Program Director of the Master’s Program in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Professor Sherman completed her Master of Science from The University of Wyoming in 1981. She is a Certified and Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the Texas Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
Professor Sherman practiced Speech-Language Pathology in numerous clinical settings, including public schools, private schools, developmental centers, skilled nursing facilities, and private practice. She joined Baylor as a full-time faculty member in the Fall of 2005 with prior service since 2003 as an adjunct faculty. Professor Sherman began in 2003 as clinical faculty in the language and literacy clinic where she trained graduate clinicians and served children with language and literacy disorders. Professor Sherman continues to supervise graduate clinicians in the intensive language and literacy summer clinic, Camp Success. She also teaches Introduction to Phonological Science for both the residential and online programs and serves as the Graduate Program Director for the residential program.
