CSD Ambassadors and CSD Mentors
Baylor CSD undergraduate students serving as CSD Ambassadors or CSD Mentors support the mission of the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders by serving in leadership roles.
CSD Ambassadors
Students serving as CSD Ambassadors support the CSD Department as representatives of the undergraduate program. CSD Ambassadors serve by:
- Participating in recruiting events
- Assisting with prospective student or donor tours and events
- Participating in retention and engagement events
Requirements:
- Minimum GPA of 3.5
- Completion of CSD Pre-requisite courses: CSD 1308, CSD 2318, CSD 2351, and CSD 3357/2356

CSD Mentors
Students serving as CSD Mentors support the CSD Department through mentorship of undergraduate students new to the CSD major. CSD Mentors serve by:
- Pairing with undergraduate students new to CSD to support community and belonging amongst the Department
- Encouraging participation in the CSD Department, NSSLHA, and the greater Baylor community
- Attending CSD departmental events
