First Hewitt's Wonderfully Made Ministry
First Hewitt’s Wonderfully Made ministry seeks to serve children with special needs by sharing God’s truth in a safe and loving environment. We invite volunteers who delight in sharing the love of Christ to serve as buddies by providing individualized support so the children are able to optimally engage with God’s word.
Volunteers serving in the children’s ministry at First Hewitt must consent to a background check and complete an online Ministry Safe training. Subsequently, training and shadowing opportunities will be provided before being placed on a schedule. Volunteers are encouraged to commit to a minimum of two hours per month during the Sunday School hour.

First Woodway's Helping Hands Ministry
Helping Hands desires to see volunteers grow in love and care for the children and adults with special needs. We want to walk with you in this journey and enjoy each day. Helping Hands at First Woodway Baptist Church expect a commitment of volunteer time a minimum of 2 hours ( 2 times) per month. Training is provided by the volunteer coordinators annually and required prior to placement in the schedule. A background check is performed by the church. Volunteers follow the policies and expectations for volunteers to be engaged and focused on the needs of the students while in their placement.
