Hollie Sammons, CCC-SLP
- Clinical Associate Professor
Hollie Sammons is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. She serves as a clinical educator at the Baylor Speech, Language, and Hearing Clinic, where she supervises graduate students in the Language and Literacy Clinic as well as in Camp Success during the Summer I session each year. In addition to her clinical teaching, Professor Sammons instructs courses in both the residential and online programs. Professor Sammons earned her Master of Science in Communication Disorders from the University of Texas at Dallas and her Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing Therapy from Stephen F. Austin State University. She is a licensed speech-language pathologist and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Prior to joining the Baylor faculty in 2009, Professor Sammons served clients in school-based and rehabilitation settings throughout the state of Texas.
