Jana Parker, SLPD, CCC-SLP
Graduate Program Director Clinical Associate Professor
Jana Parker serves as Graduate Program Director and Clinical Associate Professor and supervises graduate student clinicians and undergraduate reading assistants in the Language and Literacy Clinic housed within the Baylor University Speech-Language and Hearing Clinic. Dr. Parker is responsible for the clinic reading program. She is a licensed speech-language pathologist, trained in the Wilson Reading System, and a member of the International Dyslexia Association.
Dr. Parker joined the Baylor faculty in 2006 after practicing speech-language pathology in numerous clinical settings, including public schools, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and home health. After serving as adjunct faculty from 2009 through 2016, she rejoined Baylor as a full-time faculty member in the Fall of 2016. She is a faculty advisor for the National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association at Baylor chapter and chairs the membership committee for May is Better Speech and Hearing Month for the Texas Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
