Paul Blanchet, PhD, CCC-SLP
Associate Professor
Paul Blanchet joined the Baylor faulty in 2012. He primarily conducts research, teaches courses in the area of speech-language pathology, and mentors students in research. He earned his Ph.D. in Communication Disorders from Louisiana State University in 2002. Prior to coming to Baylor, Dr. Blanchet held faculty appointments at SUNY Fredonia and Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. He has also worked in various medical settings as a certified speech-language pathologist. Dr. Blanchet has been conducting research in the area of stuttering for over 17 years, as he is also well as a person who stutters himself.

- Suicide prevalence and risk factors among persons who stutter
- The scholarship of teaching and learning
